Velquies aims to make independent editorial decisions. What appears in The Edit, and what we say about it, is determined by our own assessment of the product and the category — not by a commercial relationship.

Some links may earn Velquies a commission. Commercial relationships do not determine editorial inclusion, ordering or wording. Where a page contains affiliate links, we say so on that page.

Every recommendation explains both what a product does well and where it falls short, including who it is unlikely to suit. A recommendation without a limitation is usually an advertisement.

We never describe a product as physically tested unless it genuinely has been, and we record what was done. Where a selection is based on specifications, published information and category expertise rather than hands-on use, we say that plainly.

Where we refer to research, we represent it accurately and proportionately. Sleep evidence is often modest and conditional; we prefer to report it that way rather than overstate it. Velquies publishes general information, not medical advice.

Recommendations and guides are reviewed and updated where appropriate, and each page carries a last-checked or last-updated date. Pricing is indicative and may change at the retailer.
